This marks the passing of Faqih al-‘Azam Muhammad Sharif Kotlawi رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه , one of Imam Ahmad Raza Khan’s successors.
11 Rabi al-Akhir, 561 AH
Demise of the celebrated saint and gnostic, Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه .
17 Rabi al-Akhir, 701 AH
Demise of the saint, Sayyid Muhammad Shah Dulha Sabzwari رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه .
18 Rabi al-Akhir, 725 AH
Passing away of the senior saint and pillar of spirituality, Khwaja Nizām al-Dīn Awliyāʾ رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه .

Passing away of the leading jurist and Imam of the Hanafi school of jurisprudence, Sayyid Muhammad Amīn b. ʿĀbidīn al-Shāmī al-Qādirī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه .

Passing of the saint ʿĀlam Shah Bukhārī Suhrawardī رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه .

Passing of the accomplished Sufi master, Shaykh Farīd al-Dīn Muhammad al-ʿAṭṭār رَحْمَةُ الـلّٰـهِ عَلَيْه .
Rabi al-Akhir 4 AH
Passing of the mother of the believers, Lady Zaynab bint Khuzayma رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ عَنْهَا .
Rabi al-Akhir 6 AH
The expedition of Muhammad b. Maslama رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ .
The Messenger of Allah صَلَّى الـلّٰـهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم sent 10 of his Companions عَـلَيْهِمُ الرِّضْوَانْ to suppress the rebellious tribes of Dhu al-Qassah. Most of the Companions عَـلَيْهِمُ الرِّضْوَانْ participating in this expedition were martyred.
Rabi al-Akhir 65 AH
The martyrdom of the Companion Sulaymān b. Ṣurad al-Khuzāʿī رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ عَـنْهُ .
May Allah Almighty have mercy upon them and forgive us without accountability for their sake.
